In this lesson, Ross Cascio guides you through some of the most fundamental striking combinations which prove extremely useful for, not just self-defense, but also ensuring a productive and sweat-inducing workout. Starting with a cardio-centric warm-up, he takes you through different combinations using both basic and southpaw fighting stances. Interspersed with the primary combinations are some basic, floor-based exercises to help strengthen different parts of your body. By the time you’re ready to cool down, you are guaranteed to have worked up a sweat and to have learned how to defend yourself effectively.

Lead Instructor

Ross Cascio

Ross Cascio is a Krav Maga Worldwide certified Expert 1 level self-defense, fitness, and fight instructor who teaches and trains at the Krav Maga Worldwide HQ Training Centers in Los Angeles.

Born and raised in Virginia, Ross graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Health Assessment and Promotion and moved to Los Angeles in 1998. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, Ross began training in Krav Maga at the Krav Maga Worldwide HQ Training Center in West L.A. and was eventually invited into the Instructor Training Program.

Ross is a lead instructor with nearly 20 years of teaching experience. He also serves as the Executive Director of Marketing for Krav Maga Worldwide and holds a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Ross lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Lauren, and their beloved dog, Oliver.
